I am an Ottawa based singer and multi-instrumentalist with a focus on both the acoustic and electric guitars. ​I am the lead singer and guitar player in the Rockabilly trio, The Hillbilly Hepcats. We play a mix of 50’s Rockabilly, Rock & Roll, Jump, and Swing and were the Thursday night house band at Fatboys Smokehouse on Murray street in the Byward Market for 3 years. I also perform an Acoustic Blues show under the name Woodshed Slim, interpreting songs predominately from the 20’s and 30’s drawn from the delta blues, roots and americana traditions. ​As Craig Taillefer I also perform solo, and with accompanists, a broad selection of popular songs that run the gamut of styles and genres, from pop, folk, country, blues and jazz, to classic rock and alternative.
